Why Mumbai learners choose an online B.Com
Long commutes, full workdays and a city that runs on commerce. The programme is planned around the way Mumbai actually lives and works.
Your commute becomes class time
Watch recorded lectures on your phone on the Western, Central or Harbour line, and turn that daily hour into study hours.
Close to India's commerce capital
From BKC and Nariman Point to the offices of Lower Parel, Mumbai hires commerce graduates across banking, broking, insurance and CA firms.
Earn while you learn
Keep your salary coming in while you earn your degree, which makes a real difference in a city with Mumbai's cost of living.
Weeknights and weekends work
Live sessions come with recordings, so a late meeting or a Saturday shift simply moves your study time to later.
Campus within easy reach
The Pimpri campus in Pune is a comfortable trip down the Mumbai-Pune Expressway or by train for Campus Connect visits.
A stepping stone to what's next
Build the base for an MBA, CA, CS or CMA, or move up in your current role at a Mumbai firm.
Built on a medical college. Grown into 13 schools.
Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth began with the Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, under the leadership of Dr. D. Y. Patil. What started as a medical institution is now a private, non-profit university with 13 schools covering biotechnology, healthcare, management, commerce, design and law.
In 2003, the University Grants Commission granted it university status under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. The DPU Centre for Online Learning runs on that same academic backbone, so the online B.Com you study from Mumbai carries the same university name as a degree earned on campus.
