The Central line rush, Ghodbunder Road offices, Bhiwandi warehouses and the MIDC belts. The programme is planned around the way Thane district actually lives and works.
Your local train becomes class time
Catch lectures on your phone on the Central line from Kalyan or Dombivli, or on the Trans-Harbour line to Navi Mumbai, and turn the daily ride into study hours.
Built for Thane's offices
Wagle Estate, Hiranandani Estate and Ghodbunder Road run accounts and finance teams, and many Thane professionals also work in BKC, Powai and Lower Parel.
Made for Bhiwandi's logistics hub
Work in billing, stores or accounts at a Bhiwandi warehouse? Earn your B.Com and step up into roles that ask for a commerce degree.
Made for the MIDC belt
From Dombivli and Ambernath MIDC to the TTC industrial area, factories need commerce graduates in accounts, purchase and compliance.
Made for business families
Handle the family shop at Jambli Naka, in the Ulhasnagar markets or at the Kalyan APMC by day, and learn accounting, GST and business law on your own time.
A campus just down the Expressway
Study with a Maharashtra university, and when Campus Connect brings you in, the Pimpri campus is a short drive down the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
Built on a medical college. Grown into 13 schools.
Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth began with the Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, under the leadership of Dr. D. Y. Patil. What started as a medical institution is now a private, non-profit university with 13 schools covering biotechnology, healthcare, management, commerce, design and law.
In 2003, the University Grants Commission granted it university status under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. The DPU Centre for Online Learning runs on that same academic backbone, so the online B.Com you study from Thane carries the same university name as a degree earned on campus.
